Laurence holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs and International Relations as well as a Spanish language micro-program. Laurence is currently a master's student in international studies, major in international trade and investment at the École supérieure d'études internationales of Laval University. She is also president of the Association pour la simulation des Nations unies de l'Université Laval.

Laurence has been a research assistant at the Canada Research Chair in International Political Economy since September 2020.
